Our principal and staff
Our school team is committed to every student’s learning, wellbeing and sense of belonging. We work together to create a supportive and inclusive school where every child is set up for success.
Welcome from our principal
“On behalf of the school community, I proudly welcome you to our school. At Maroota Public School, we pride ourselves on being a small school with a big heart. Our students are at the centre of everything we do, and we are committed to creating a safe, inclusive and inspiring learning environment where every child is known, valued and cared for.
We offer a strong foundation in literacy and numeracy, complemented by rich opportunities in creative arts, sport, technology and environmental education. Our dedicated staff work in partnership with families and the wider community to nurture confident, curious and capable learners who are ready to thrive in a changing world and who have a genuine love of learning.
We believe in empowering students to take ownership of their learning, developing not only essential academic skills but also resilience, empathy and a sense of responsibility. Our school’s welcoming and supportive culture reflects our shared values and commitment to excellence, wellbeing and continuous improvement.
I warmly invite you to visit Maroota Public School to experience first-hand the genuine sense of community and pride that makes our school so special.”
